Season 2 is under way! Take a listen in this NEW SEASON, as I focus on the art of CoParenting! Here are the show notes for episode 201:
There's no secret, CoParenting is HARD! So you get hard. Not literally, but in your systems. I mean, in your day-to-day activities.
In consulting, I call these sets of activities/task, "systems". So, let me break it down:
YOUR SYSTEMS = how you prep for, go thru, and download each day.
Tips for a better system:
- Rest. Go to bed early, get your kids to bed early, so you can rise early. Guidelines, 10p-5a (plus or minus)
WebMD Research: Some people say they can function on four to six hours of sleep each night, but research shows that adults who get fewer than seven hours of sleep — whether for just one night or over the course of days, weeks, or months — have more difficulty concentrating and more mood problems than people who sleep seven to nine.
2. Repurpose the Emotions - the old way of releasing emotions no longer work. WEll, sex still works, but arguments, heated conversations, or whatever you want to brand it doesn't work. Turn that energy into:
- a weight loss program (or a client loss program)
- a new hobby you've been putting off for years (or a new line item in business)
- BREAK STUFF!
